My Primrose

Hello Blogger World

Hope everyone is having a wonderful summer.
I have been gone since May 31 .
Now I know you aren't going to believe me  but I forgot to take my camera!!!!!
So sorry no pictures this year.
I did take a picture today as I was working in my yard.

This little fellow came in for a drink while I cooling off from picking Raspberries in the 93 * sunshine.

Growing Conditions
Full sunshine. Don't even begin to wish for a harvest in shade. At least 6-8 full hot sun-hours a day.
If you can grow great roses in this spot, you'll be good for growing raspberries.
Even moisture. The key to obtaining good berries is to have good soil with even moisture when the berries are setting flower and fruit. Without the moisture, your berries will be small and tough.
Organic soils. Growing raspberries thrive on organic matter and adding copious amounts of compost or composted manure is a time-honored method of producing great harvests.

  5. What's worse than forgetting your camera is having your camera, taking pictures all day at a special event and then realizing no film in the camera...lol. Glad you had a nice time!!!! Tell us more about it.

  7. Mighty glad to have you back! I know you wish you had your camera--but you can describe everything ;)

I loved the hummingbird shot--I have a feeder outside my kitchen window and still have not caught one in action!

    Blessings on you friend!

  8. Hi Swetie--I've been at the Outer Banks with my son and family all week. Brought my camera and haven't even taken it out of the case. We old folks! We can't remember a thing, can we! Maybe I'll get it out tonight, cause we're leaving tomorrow. I haven't even visited the "Knitting Addiction"---they have 3 yarn shop down here somewhere, and I know where that one is--but I don't think I really need any yarn right now. Did get my hair cut, but that's all. And have had great seafood--that's a plus!

Glad to see you posting. I think about you often.
