Just dropping in for old time sake, I guess.
I am still around, busy,busy doing a lot of different things.
Spring is almost here.Daffodils and Easter lilies are gone but my Columbine and Pansies are doing beautiful.My Tulip tree was also beautiful this year. Frost did not kill it as it does some springs.I can't believe vacation time is just around the corner. Tomorrow is the first day of May and will see if " April showers bring May flowers ".
I am knitting some again.Have a baby blanket on the needles for a gift in June.This is a homemade pattern;
Red Heart soft baby yarn ; color 7941 Bambino print
Size 8 circ.needles
muliplity of 4 sts.
cast on 160 sts.( add sts. by 4 if you want it wider)
Makes it 38 inches wide ( I am just going along until its as long as I want )
Pattern;
K 5 rows ( garter St.) ( border)
Row1. k.4 *,p1,k1*, across, ending last 4 st.knit
Row 2;same as row 1
Row 3 & 4 ; Knit.
Repeat these 4 rows until its as long as you desire and ending ;
Knit 5 rows .
Bind off
Here is my Tulip tree It blooms first and the leaves come afterwords
Hope all are having a good warm spring. Columbine is pretty too
I will leave you with this advice ;
Jeremiah 10 :23 O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.
24 O LORD, correct me, but with judgment; not in thine anger, lest thou bring me to nothing.
Today let the Lord direct your steps so that you will walk right (righteously) for his judgment of you is for your best interest.

Elsie,
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my most favorite times of the year, when flowers bloom in all sorts of colors and the temperatures are still mild enough to be outside and enjoy the newness that God brings forth at this time. Love all your wonderful colors!
